What is Noni?
Noni Juice, which comes from the morinda citrifolia fruit, has been claimed over many years to be a cure-all for numerous types of ailments.Recently it has become the huge health rage over the entire United States.
Noni fruit is packed with nutrients – some well known, others more mysterious – that can help you to live a healthier, longer life.
The tree grows up to 30 feet tall in a large variety of habitats: volcanic terrains, lava-strewn coasts, clearings, and limestone crops.
Its resiliency has allowed it to spread from its native Southeast Asia to neighboring India and the Pacific Islands, and as far as New Zealand, Australia, and South America.
Its leaves are large, dark green, shiny, and deeply veined. Its small white flowers give rise to fruit that is bright green when young, and yellow or white when ripe.
Over 2,000 years ago, the inhabitants of what is now known as the Polynesian Islands domesticated the noni tree.
They used all parts of the tree as food, medicine, and dye.
History
It is said that Polynesian Islanders first cultivated and domesticated the noni tree over 2,000 years ago.
They used the leaves and fruit as a topical medicine, applying it to boils, lesions, and other skin maladies.
Various other cultures have used the fruit as famine food, livestock feed, topical and internal medicine, and dye.
People in China, Japan, and Hawaii have used noni to treat fever, as well as problems with eyes, skin, gums, throat, stomach, digestion, and respiration. In Malaysia and the Philippines, the leaves have been used to relieve cough, nausea, colic, and arthritis. In Indonesia, the fruit has been eaten for asthma, lumbago, and dysentery.
Noni -Health benefits
| Part of the reason researchers claim that Noni Juice works is because of the essential elements it contains. One of the most important things our bodies need to maintain the proper protein structure and keep our cells communicating is xeronine. However, many of the toxins in our enviornment change our ability to take xeronine into our systems. As a result, we must find other methods of adding it to our bodies. Without it, our cells get weak, causing tissue decay, organ weakening, and eventually, serious health problems. The proxeronine found in Noni Juice can stop this process. In fact, Noni is one of the best sources of proxeronine known to man. The proxeronine found in Noni can not only prevent your cells from succumbing to illness in the first place, some say it can actually help to heal the cells even if they are already sick. There are many suggested benefits to Noni Juice. Many claim it can help with conditions like stress, asthma, allergies, and headaches. |
